Circuit Hero 700km Endurance Race

Circuit Hero 700km Endurance Race was first held in 2010 as Circuit Hero 500km Endurance Race. It was planned as a fun event before the Chinese New Year holidays. The race was divided into 5 classes: Open, A, B, C and D. GT cars, supercars and prototypes are all welcome to race. Class A is for cars with engine capacity over 2,001cc. Class B is for race cars with engine capacity between 1,601 and 2,000cc and class C is for race cars with engine capacity between 1,301 and 1,600cc. Finally, class D is for GT4 or approved race cars.

The race distance was 500km or 3 hours but increased to 600km in 2017. As soon as the leading car completes the race distance, then the race is over. Each race car can be shared by a maximum of 4 drivers. Each driver can drive continuously for 45 minutes, after that he must rest for a minimum of 15 minutes before he can drive again. All participating teams must complete 70% of the winning team's race distance and still running in order to be classified as a finisher.

The race distance was increased once again to 700km in 2019, which is 163 laps at ZIC, with a time limit of 5 hours. The race was won by Zun Motorsport Crew #77 Adderly Fong/Ma Ka-Chun/Lin Yi-Ming/Shaun Thong, they completed 163 laps in 4:45:56.254 in a Audi R8 LMS GT3.
