06 Jul 2011 Intercontinental Le Mans Cup (Italy Round): Zhang Shan-Qi gets on the podium again
On 3rd July, Chinese motor racing driver Zhang Shan-Qi once again achieves a strong result at the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup race at Imola, Italy.

He and his two teammates Luca Moro and Tor Graves participated in the FLM class of the Intercontinental Le Mans Cup’s FLM class. Driving an Oreca 09 racing car, the car achieved 1:44.550 in the qualifying session and would start the race from 27th position overall and 4th position in FLM class.
After 6 hours of ferocious racing, Hope Racing completed 194 laps in 6 hours 2 minutes 19.042 seconds and finished 23rd overall and 3rd in class. Zhang Shan-Qi and his teammates therefore enjoyed the chance to celebrate on the podium once again. The car’s fastest lap in the race was 1:44.481.
The race was won by the two Peugeot 908s which completed 220 laps. Audi’s two R18 race cars finished third and fourth one lap behind. FLM class was won by JMB Racing with Pegasus Racing finishing second, both cars completed 195 laps.
