Recently, Pan Delta area has drawn in a lot of “Dragon Boat water” (colossal rain), making everyone feel wet and cold. But this weekend, 2018 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival Summer Race will arrive, races of six different categories with nearly 200 drivers/riders, plus the cheering sounds of thousands of fans, will definitely turn you on and feel a real hot summer!
Due to the influence of “Dragon Boat water”, the changeable weather conditions is a big factor affecting the races. But all the teams are getting ready for battle. Winson Racing stepped on the podium on their debut, now they are expecting more in the summer race; Jack’s Racing has a clear aim and that is to get on the podium; Foshan Xiongji Racing have arrived at the circuit early for testing and gather data for wet conditions, as they want to improve their wet track performance; GoKart Racing, racing on home turf, have raised their game and are making a series of adjustments according to the weather, making them hot favourites. New arrivals Jiayan Racing are in good spirits and they want to prove themselves at the race; Zun Motorsport Crew have got former F1 test driver Adderly Fong on their team. Speed Hero is the race that can be most badly affected by adverse weather. The semi works CER Ducati HK team manager Simon Kwan states this kind of weather is a severe test for riders, team personnel and the motorbikes.
The bright spot for the weekend is the chance to see the supercars such as Lamborghini Huracan, Audi R8 LMS, Porsche 911 and Lotus go head-to-head in Circuit Hero-One. A number of international drivers are entered, their appearance is a strong vote of confidence for the professionalism of the Circuit Hero-One race.
There is no doubt plenty of excitement on track, but off track there is just as much fun. Pan Delta’s mascots, “Circuit Hero” and his female friend will wear the various traditional costumes of the countries along the Belt and Road policy and meet with the race fans. Mini has organized over 100 Mini car owners to attend the “MINI LIVE” event. In addition, Yamaha new motorcycle launch, Motorsport Cultural Show, Drivers Autograph session, Creative Culture Show, Drift Experience… etc, all add to the deep motorsport culture of Pan Delta.
