16 Jun 2019 Circuit Hero Race 4 - Zun Motorsport Crew dominates top 3 positions

On 16 June, 2019 Pan Delta Super Racing Festival – Summer Race is held at Zhuhai International Circuit. In Circuit Hero Race 4, Zun Motorsport Crew completely dominates the top 3 positions. #77 Ma Ka-Chun takes overall victory, #38 Adderly Fong finishes second overall while #7 Lin Yi-Ming takes third place overall. From 4th to 6th are Grid Motorsport #63 Steven Bei, Tianshi Racing #99 David Chen Wei-An and #39 Li Yan-Han.

According to the race regulations, the top 8 finishers of yesterday’s race will line up on a reverse grid in today’s race. Therefore today’s pole position is occupied by Tianshi Racing #39 Li Yan-Han. Alongside him on the front row is Supercar A class third place finisher #89 Naomi Zhang. Yesterday’s race winner Grid Motorsport #63 Steven Bei and Zun Motorsport Crew #38 Adderly Fong will start from the fourth row.

At 14:30, the race begins. Polesitter Tianshi Racing #39 Li Yan-Han, in his older Audi R8 LMS race car, is unable to maintain his lead at turn 1. After some serious fight for position at the first 3 corners, Zun Motorsport Crew #77 Ma Ka-Chun holds down first place, his teammate #38 Adderly Fong is right behind him. Then Zun Motorsport Crew #21 Wang Hao loses control and hits the wall. Fortunately he is able to return to the pit lane for repairs. The race continues unabated. #89 Naomi Zhang is up one place to third while #39 Li Yan-Han is in fourth place.

On lap 2, 7th position starter Zun Motorsport Crew #7 Lin Yi-Ming passes both Naomi Zhang and Li Yan-Han to move up to third place. Race 3 winner Grid Motorsport #63 Steven Bei follows him close behind.

First and second places are dominated by Ma Ka-Chun and Adderly Fong, Lin Yi-Ming manages to hold back Steven Bei, allowing Ma Ka-Chun and Adderly Fong to extend their lead. Behind the top 4, Tianshi Racing #99 David Chen Wei-An finds a way pass #89 Naomi Zhang and moves up to fifth place.

On lap 8, Steven Bei forces his way ahead of Lin Yi-Ming at turn 7 after a slight touch. But Lin Yi-Ming is not about giving up easily and fights back at turn 9, re-taking third place. At the chequered flag, Zun Motorsport Crew finishes 1-2-3, the order is #77 Ma Ka-Chun, #38 Adderly Fong and #7 Lin Yi-Ming.

For the various classes, the top 3 of Supercar Challenge are: Zun Motorsport Crew #77 Ma Ka-Chun, #7 Lin Yi-Ming, Tianshi Racing #39 Li Yan-Han; Supercar A class top 3 are: Zun Motorsport Crew #38 Adderly Fong, Grid Motorsport #63 Steven Bei, the only female driver of the race #89 Naomi Zhang. For Supercar B1 class, the top 3 are #27 Yu Kam-Cheong, Grid Motorsprot #5 Wu Guo-Xian, Tianshi Racing #19 Zhu Yue; in Supercar B2 class, the top 3 are Team Master Champ #55 Lin Li-Feng, #22 Rolly Sham and Team Master Champ #33 Lao Zhi-Ming. Supercar C class winner is Tianshi Racing #99 David Chen Wei-An.
